Aids in the prevention of ketosis and reduces shedding of the bacteria that causes Johne's disease
Kexxtone™ has important health benefits for the herd
- Aids in the prevention of subclinical ketosis, which can reduce the incidence of clinical ketosis, and displaced abomasum
- Reduces the fecal shedding of Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis (MAP), the causative agent of Johne's disease.
Kexxtone™ is recommended for use in herds in which health improvement is of interest for diseases related to negative energy balance, i.e. those known to be at risk of ketosis, (clinical or subclinical) and DA (displaced abomasum), as well as those with overweight dry cows. Kexxtone™ remains in the rumen, and continuously delivers the active ingredient for approximately three months.
